Anna’s House opened its first location in 2003, and two years later, entrepreneur Josh Beckett bought the brand and realized it had great potential. Over the past many years he helped transform it into something new.
With Josh’s guidance, Anna’s House reinvented itself as a breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot that gave its guests with dietary requirements a much-needed taste of quality in a welcoming, retro-style diner setting.
A Brand on the Rise
Since its transformation opening, Anna’s House has become a hit with guests, who loved our dedication to quality and our insistence on offering a menu of sustainably sourced, all-natural, no-additive meals with gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan options.
Over the next two decades, the brand has expanded to multiple locations serving communities across Michigan. Guests love our dedication to using only the freshest ingredients in our kitchen and to our “all-welcome” approach to service, and they helped us grow into a top regional dining destination.

Josh Beckett
Building a modern breakfast and brunch franchise that recognizes and caters to guests’ dietary needs takes vision for the future and a drive for change. Anna’s House CEO and entrepreneur Josh Beckett brings those qualities and more to the brand, and he’s on a mission to spread the goodness nationwide.
Josh began his career developing real estate and establishing multiple businesses, and when he discovered Anna’s House, he saw the brand’s potential immediately. Later, when he learned he was diabetic, he understood how important it was for people with dietary needs to find quality options, and he made Anna’s House a place where guests could find great food, no matter their specific dining requirements.
Josh’s inclusive approach connects with guests and has aided our growth, and it helps him and his experienced team of professionals guide Anna’s House effectively, as we expand into new markets.
